Toronto has worst commute in North America

One new study is showing that Toronto has the worst commute out of any major city in North America.

According a British consultant firm, your stress is warranted.
Expert market reported that Toronto has the sixth worst commute in the world and worst in North America. Worse than Los Angeles and Manhattan, which have far larger populations.
The study found that the average commute in Toronto is a grueling, shoulder tightening hour and a half. No wonder travel site Expedia.ca excluded Toronto from it’s top 40 ‘happiest places in Canada’ list last year.
In order to maintain their happiness, commuters heading to Toronto say they must plan accordingly or just not go there entirely.
Even Mayor Eisenberger endured the commute for years before returning to municipal politics.
Ironically, on the streets of Toronto, most people don’t see what the fuss is about.
But there’s one thing few can deny: the transit system has remained almost unchanged in decades and needs an overhaul.
It’s a problem Premier-Designate Doug Ford thinks he can solve.
