Toronto most expensive

Vancouver is no longer Canada’s most expensive city to live in.

That distinction now goes to Toronto.

It’s jumped 17 places, mostly because rent is up.

Toronto is now the 59th most expensive city in the world, while Vancouver ranks six places lower.

The survey was conducted by the Mercer Consulting firm.

It says the high loonie has bumped up the cost of living across Canada.
