Toronto memorial service tonight

Friends and family will hold a memorial service Thursday for two Toronto homicide victims killed exactly one year ago.

Courthney Facey was found in a side laneway on Weston Road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and died at the scene.

Mike James was found nearby, also suffering from several gunshot wounds, and was taken to hospital where he later died.

Police say at least two people, including the shooter were in a black BMW X5 sport utility vehicle.

The memorial takes place at 7 o’clock at 1798 Weston Road.
