Toronto man arrested in Brantford, loaded and concealed firearm seized

Brantford police have arrested a man and seized a loaded, concealed firearm following a drug trafficking investigation.

Police attended a residence on Brant Ave to arrest a man as a result of the investigation that began on July 9.

Once officers identified themselves, the man fled on foot. Police say after a short foot chase, officers apprehended him.

Police say they found a fully loaded .45 caliber handgun and a large quantity of cash on the man when he was arrested.

Olanzo Nelson, 23, of Toronto stands charged with multiple offences including unauthorized possession of a firearm.
