Toronto fraud charge

A Toronto man has been charged after 20 people lost money in an investment scheme.

The OPP began investigating two years ago when investors complained they had lost more than a million dollars in two projects.

Police allege money that was going to be put into a real estate development in the Southampton area and to renovate a Hamilton nursing home was diverted.

59 year old Mitchell Wolfe is charged with fraud over five thousand dollars and breach of trust.
