Toronto fire fighters remember Sara Rosen

The fire fighting community continues to mourn the death of one of their own. Sara Rosen died, after falling off the Niagara escarpment, while mountain biking at a conservation area in Milton yesterday.
Just inside the Kelso conservation area, fellow Toronto fire fighters formed a memorial for Sara Rosen. The 38-year old fell nearly twenty metres to her death yesterday morning while on a mountain bike ride.
Before walking along the re-opened trails there’s a sign warning hikers and mountain bikers to be careful. There are two trails to choose from, one several meters away from the edge of the cliff and another that’s too close for comfort, something park staff are looking into. The Halton Region Conversational authority told us that they’re collecting data independently and with Halton police to figure out their next move and it could mean barriers along the escarpment trail.
A fire fighters association member told CHCH that a funeral date hasn’t been set.
