Toronto FC faces Forge FC in long-awaited 2020 Canadian Championship

Soccer fans are flocking to Tim Hortons Field to watch the Forge FC‘s monumental match against the Toronto FC for the Canadian Championship title.

Canadian pride is on the line for the Voygeurs Cup, a cup final that was rescheduled because of pandemic restrictions and scheduling conflicts. Toronto FC has been a flagship club in Canadian soccer and Forge FC supporters believe this is another big night for Hamilton to raise its profile in the soccer landscape.

The two clubs meet for the first time ever in the first-ever Canadian final between a CPL and MLS franchise. Toronto FC arrives with a championship pedigree and brand name, however, Forge FC has two domestic titles and Concacaf success going as far as playing against Mexican giants Cruz Azul.
