Toronto and Peel can move to Stage two on Wednesday

Toronto and Peel Region will be able to loosen COVID-19 restrictions as of Wednesday.
Premier Doug Ford announced Monday that the two regions have been cleared to enter stage two of re-opening.
That leaves Windsor-Essex as the only region in the province to remain in stage one.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says that 31 of their 32 new cases come from the agri-farm sector.
Ford says farmers are not co-operating enough.
“Farmers aren’t sending their people in to be tested,” said a frustrated Ford, noting that it’s unfair for the people and businesses in Windsor-Essex.
“It’s like banging your head against the wall.”
The news comes as Ontario is reporting 161 new cases of the virus.
That’s the lowest total of new daily cases since late March.
It brings the province to a total of 33,637 cases, including 2,609 deaths.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says the number of resolved cases continues to grow more quickly than active ones.
For the eight time in the past nine days, Ontario is reporting fewer than 200 cases, with 161 new cases of #COVID19 today, a 0.5% increase. With 214 more resolved, there are 53 fewer active cases in the province as the persistent decrease in active cases continues.

Officials are still emphasizing the importance of physical distancing and hygiene.
“This fight’s not over,” said Ford.
“We’re winning but it’s not over.”
