Topless Protest in Waterloo

Three sisters held a rally and march in Waterloo today after they were stopped by police for biking topless last week.

Waterloo Regional Police say they’re conducting a review into why the officer pulled over the three topless sisters while they were biking.

The women say they have filed a formal complaint.

A few hundred people came out, many of them topless, to show support for women’s rights.

The rally was organized by three sisters from Kitchener to educate people about women’s right to be topless in public

It was almost 25 years ago that University of Guelph student Gwen Jacobs won the right for women to go topless in Ontario.
