Tobogganing in Hamilton is now legal on four hills

It is now legal to toboggan on four City of Hamilton hills .

Starting today the Chedoke Golf Course, King’s Forest Golf Course, Garth & Stonechurch Reservoir and Hamilton Waterdown Memorial Park hills are open.

Tobogganing was illegal in Hamilton after a lawyer hurt himself and sued the city for $900 000.

The city is encouraging tobogganers to wear a helmet and to follow a list of safety tips that can be found on their website.
