Tiger Woods returns to Florida to recover from car crash

Tiger Woods says he’s back home in Florida to resume recovering after last month’s car crash.

Woods posted a statement on Twitter last night that he is recovering at home, is thankful for all the support, and is working on getting stronger.

He was critically hurt Feb. 23 while driving an SUV to a television shoot along winding suburban roads in Los Angeles.

The vehicle crashed over a median and off the road, leaving Woods with shattered bones in his lower right leg, ankle and foot.
