Tiffany Hills Elementary closed for police investigation

Tiffany Hills Elementary School in Ancaster is closed Thursday, as police investigate an overnight break-in.

In a statement, the Hamilton-Wentworth District Board said there are no safety concerns at this time or anytime during the incident.

“We are working with the Hamilton Police Service and thank them for their efforts.”

There is broken glass and several classrooms were entered, said the board’s manager of communications Shawn McKillop.

The school is expected to re-open tomorrow.
