The Hamilton Tiger-Cats released their depth chart for Friday nights meeting against the Edmonton Eskimos at Commonwealth Stadium and there a big surprise in the secondary. Lining up at cornerback is recently acquired Delvin Breaux. The former Ticat who’s back after 3 years with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints joined the team on Tuesday, but head coach June Jones was unsure of his fitness level. Fair to say, Breaux clearly impressed his coaches.

Three players were released today as backup quarterback Vernon Adams Jr., who’s trade plans to with the Montreal Alouettes or Edmonton Eskimos clearly fell through. With the addition of long snapper Tanner Doll, fellow canadian Kevin Malcolm was let loose. Also cut is wide receiver Bryce Wilkerson, which clears the path for veteran Terrence Toliver to return to the active roster after a year away due to knee surgery.
