Ticat Training Camp Begins

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ training camp got off to a soggy start on Sunday.
The team thought the weather felt a bit more like Saskatchewan, but they were happy to be back on the field regardless of the chilly, damp day.
Head coach, Kent Austin, was not a fan of the rain, which made the conditions difficult for everyone in one way or another, so he decided to cancel half of the scheduled practice.
And even though is was a short day, it was a pleasant debut for offensive lineman and Burlington native, Ryan Bomben.
There are only a handful of players on last year’s team who aren’t here, which means Coach Austin has the benefit of a largely veteran roster.
But whether or not the player is new or old, this team hopes to come together to win their first preseason game, which is only one week away.
