There was a triple tractor trailer crash in Ajax early Wednesday morning.


OPP were tasked with removing the wreckage of three trucks that collided in the eastbound lanes of the 401, east of Westney.

The crash happened around 1 am. One driver was trapped and later airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Another driver suffered minor injuries and the third wasn’t hurt.
