Three teens arrested for armed robberies in Hamilton

Hamilton police have arrested three teens in connection to a series of commercial armed robberies in the downtown area.
On Thursday, Nov 25, three men entered a variety store in the area of King Street West and Caroline Street. One of them was armed with a gun and the other was armed with a large knife.
On Tuesday, Nov. 30, two men with similar descriptions as the previously mentioned robbery, entered a variety store in the area of Main Street East and Victoria Avenue. One of them was armed with a knife.
Investigators say the Hamilton Police Break Enter and Robbery Unit took control of the investigation.
Police say they were able to identify three people involved in the planning and execution of the robberies.
Two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old were charged with multiple offences including, robbery with intent to steal, firearm or imitation and more.
