Three men wanted following armed Oakville home invasion

Halton police are searching for three men in connection with a home invasion in Oakville late Monday night.

Police say around 11 p.m., three men, one armed with a large knife, broke in through the front door of a home in the area of Randall Street and Watson Avenue.

The men confronted the residents of the home and demanded the keys to a Land Rover parked in the driveway.

The confrontation turned into a physical altercation before the men found the keys and fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.

A man who lives in the home sustained minor injuries.

Investigators say all three men were wearing dark-coloured clothing and face masks at the time of the home invasion. The suspect vehicle is described as a light-coloured sedan believed to be a Honda Civic.

Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information and security or dash cam video from the area between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. to contact police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
