Three men wanted after armed robbery downtown Hamilton: police

Hamilton police are searching for three men after an armed robbery at a convenience store downtown.

On March 24 around 2:30 a.m., officers said three men approached the clerk and demanded cash. One suspect was armed with a knife and another with a machete.

The men stole an unknown amount of cash and then fled the store on foot. They were last seen running westbound on Main St. West.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

The first male suspect is described as five-foot-eight to five-foot-10, weighing between 180 to 190 lbs and having a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black or dark coloured grey zip-up jacket with a hood that had side pockets, red and white coloured bandana covering his face, blue latex glove on his right hand, red and black glove on his left hand, blue jeans, black and white Nike flip flops and holding a silver coloured knife in his right hand.

The second male suspect is described as white, five-foot-eight to five-foot-10, weighing between 185 to 195 lbs and having a medium build. He was last seen wearing a maroon zip-up jacket with a hood that appeared to have a red liner and side pockets, black and white bandana covering his face, dark green track pants with a white Nike logo on the left leg, white running shoes and holding a machete in his right hand that had a yellow handle.

The third male suspect is described as five-foot-eight to five-foot-10, weighing 175 to 185 lbs and having a medium build and a light beard. He was last seen wearing a black Under Armour toque with a white logo, black or dark blue sweater, black pants, black mask, black Nike low-cut shoes and holding a cell phone in his left hand that had a white case.
