Three Plead Guilty in Violent Stoney Creek Robbery

Three men charged in a violent robbery at a Stoney Creek business last Spring pleaded guilty to the crimes on Tuesday.
Dwayne Bogle, Russaine Hayden, and Deosaran Persaud were charged with three counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of forcible confinement, aggravated assault and several other firearm charges.
The men walked into Azule Kitchen on Millen Rd. shortly after noon on March 23 and bound the wrists and ankles of two employees with duct tape. Another employee suffered serious injuries and required surgery after being struck in the head with a steel mallet during the violent attack.
The trio fled in a black Infiniti sedan which later crashed on South Service Rd. Police arrested the men after they fled on foot and were found hiding inside an open storage locker.
