Three hurt in head-on crash

A head-on collision between two vehicles west of Brantford has sent three men to hospital with critical injuries.

The crash between an SUV and a cargo van happened around 6 pm on Colborne Street West, just east of Mill Street in the community of Mt. Vernon.

The impact caused the van to roll over, trapping one of the victims inside.

The injured men, ranging in age from 30 to 58, were taken to Brantford General and are listed in critical to serious condition.

Colborne Street re-opened overnight.
