Three cyclists struck by vehicle in St. Catharines, leaving one dead

Niagara police say one person is dead after three people were hit by a vehicle in St. Catharines.
On Monday at around 6:42 p.m. police arrived on scene on Seventh Street Louth between the South Service Road and Second Avenue Louth. Police say three cyclists were struck by a white Ford Edge.
All three cyclists were treated at the scene and taken to hospital. One of the cyclists who was in critical condition later died. The other two are in stable condition.
Police say all three were pushing their bikes along the road when it happened and all three men are residents of Mexica working at an area farm. The road has since reopened.
