Thorold man, 25, charged in child luring investigation in U.S.

Niagara police have charged a 25-year-old man with multiple offences related to child luring following a month-long investigation.

Detectives began the investigation in May after officers from the Edison New Jersey Police Department believed a resident in the Niagara Region was luring an underage female in the United States.

Niagara police executed a search warrant at an address in Thorold Wednesday morning.

Logan Charles Carter of Thorold was then arrested and charged with four different offences, including making child pornograpy and luring a child via telecommunication.

Carter was scheduled to appear in a St. Catharines court Wednesday.
