Thorold drug investigation

Niagara police have launched a drug investigation, after a home invasion on Deerfield Parkway in Thorold Wednesday night.

Police say they found evidence of an illicit drug manufacturing operation in the basement of the house they were called to for a break and enter. Two armed men broke into the home and were later arrested. Police are waiting on legal authorization to re-enter the house for further investigation.
Officials say the home and its occupants were targeted by the suspects.
