Indigenous woman’s family says she could still be alive if not for inaction by St. Catharines hospital staff

The family of a young Indigenous woman who died suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital last week claims it was due to negligence on the part of staff who sent her home with Tylenol the day before.

The hospital is now conducting a review of the case, but as Nicole Martin reports, the 24-year-old’s mother believes her daughter was pre-judged and that race played a factor.
