A look at the evolution of Art Crawl in Hamilton

This is the 15th year for Art Crawl and people have said it has transformed James Street North into something remarkable.

Mark Morgenstern owns Charred on James Street North and a clothing store down across the street.

He says about 20 years go the area was a ghost town “Slowly gradually it went down and down, when the artists came into the area it started reviving it”.

Thanks to the artists the area is a beautiful space and have become an attraction for it’s booming “food scene”.
