The province’s transportation agency released its plan to pay for improvements to public transit and roads in the Hamilton-Toronto region Monday…

And we could be facing the prospect of major tax increases.

Metrolinx says it needs billions of dollars, and much of that money could come from the public.

But as Al Sweeney reports, the idea is not going over well.
