The 7th Annual Hamilton Walk for Down Syndrome

The 7th annual Hamilton Walk for Down Syndrome was held in Bayfront Park on Sunday.

The Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton is a volunteer-run organization that aims to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance for down syndrome within the community.

The annual walk is an important part of their fund-raising efforts.

The goal for this year’s walk was $119,000 dollars.

The association raised about half of the target goal before the event even began.
