Two teens injured in single-vehicle crash in Oakville

Two teenagers were taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision in Oakville.
Officers were called to a crash on Leighland Ave. at Robarts Rd. around 2:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police say a Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Leighland Ave. approaching the intersection when it lost control and left the roadway.
The vehicle struck a hydro box and stopped on the lawn of a nearby home.
A 19-year-old man who was driving the car and an 18-year-old man who was a passenger suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
