Teenager hospitalized with injuries in Fort Erie rollover

A teenager is in hospital with injuries after being ejected from a car rollover in the Fort Erie area late Boxing Day.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Dec. 26 on Netherby Road, near the bend at Townline Road in the Stevensville area.
A Niagara police investigation revealed that the 17-year-old driver from Fort Erie was operating a white 2015 Buick Encore when the SUV left the roadway, ejecting the teen.
He was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Services and the Fort Erie Fire Department.
As a precaution, Air Ornge transported him to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing and at this time no charges have been laid.
