Hamilton police have confirmed the son of celebrated punk rock guitarist Gordon Lewis has been charged in his father’s death.

Officers said 65-year-old Lewis was found dead inside an apartment after officers received emails sent to media outlets with information about his death.

Jonathan Lewis, 41, is charged with second-degree murder.

Gordon Lewis was a founding member of the Hamilton punk band Teenage Head, which formed in the 1970s.
