Teen wanted after crowd sprayed with aerosol at Fenwick Fair

Niagara police are searching for a teenager after an aerosol spray was dispersed into a crowd at the Fenwick Fair.

Officers responded to the fair at Centennial Park around 9:30 p.m. on May 28 for reports of an assault.

At least eight victims between the ages of 12 and 42 have minor injuries after they were sprayed with the suspected bear deterrent.

Police said a teenage boy is wanted for assault with a weapon. He is described as 16 to 17 years old, five-foot-11 and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing black pants, a grey Nike sweatshirt, black Air Force shoes and a black ski mask.
