Teen sentenced to 3 years in the stabbing death of Dwayne Bride

UPDATE:
A 16-year old boy has been given a three-year jail sentence for the stabbing death of 42-year-old Dwayne Bride.
Bride was walking home during the early morning hours of June 3 when he got into a argument with two youths on bikes in front of an apartment building on Bay St. South.
Bride was later found lying in the street suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
In July, the 16-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
The teen was sentenced Wednesday to three years in jail followed by four years of supervision.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated the teen was sentenced to four years in jail and three years of supervision.
