Teen hurt in waterdown

Hamilton Police believe a couple of teens may have been performing a stunt in Waterdown, when one of them was seriously hurt. The parking lot is in the area of Hamilton street and Parkside drive. Police say they were called to the scene around one in the morning after someone reported a crash involving a pedestrian.

A 17-year-old female from Hamilton was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. The 18-year-old driver of a 2012 Hyundai accent was not hurt. Police say preliminary information revealed the teens were known to each other and may have been attempting a stunt together which resulted in the girl getting hurt.

Police are confident there were a lot of other teens who caught the incident on their cell phones and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
