Teen doused with bleach at sleepover

A 13-year-old Burlington girl appeared in court Thursday to face five charges, after allegedly threatening another girl with a knife and attacking her with bleach.

Police say both girls were at a sleepover on Saturday, and that the victim woke up when she was sprayed with bleach.

The victim doesn’t appear to have been physically hurt, but police say she was also assaulted by the accused girl the next day.

The accused teen was released on bail. Her next court appearance will be on Jan. 12.
