Teachers’ union: this isn’t over

A day of political protest planned by the public elementary school teachers’ union didn’t happen because it was deemed illegal by Ontario’s labour relations board.

The board made the decision at four am, leaving parents little time to rearrange their plans. And while they scrambled to get their kids to class, the government called for unions to move forward. But Sean Leathong found the sides may actually be moving farther apart.
