Teachers hold after-school rally

Updated Hamilton public elementary school teachers joined forces with public high school teachers today in a rally against what they call the Ontario Liberals’ continued assault on democratic rights.

They gathered outside Liberal MPP Ted McMeekin’s office in Waterdown at three pm – after school hours, because the Ontario Labour Relations Board deemed it illegal to protest during school time. Kate Carnegie has more:
