Tariffs the main topic at final Liberal leadership debate as ballot casting opens

The second and final Federal Liberal leadership debate was held Tuesday night in Montreal, this time with the candidates debating in English.
Liberal Party members can now begin casting advance ballots with less than two weeks until a new leader is chosen.
Former Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney is the presumed front runner.
He faced off against former Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, former government house leader Karina Gould, and former Liberal MP Frank Baylis.
The candidates spoke much of Donald Trump and his threats, while also trying to distinguish themselves from Justin Trudeau.
CHCH spoke with Liberal strategist Charles Bird, a principal with public affairs firm Earnscliffe Strategies in Toronto.
