Targeted home invasion

There was another home invasion in downtown Hamilton last night and police say it was targeted.

Around 10:30 p.m dozens of officers responded to a home on Inchbury Street. Witnesses say the men responsible fled in a vehicle just before police arrived.

Three adult family members were home when the men forced their way inside. One man was hit in the face with a replica handgun.

Police say the criminals are described as black and were wearing bandanas over their face. Officers at the scene were told by the victims that nothing was stolen
