Swiss Chalet chicken nuggets recalled after injuries caused by bone pieces

A Canada-wide recall has been issued on Swiss Chalet brand chicken breast nuggets after several injuries occurred due to bone fragments in the product.

No information about the number, type or severity of injuries has been provided.

The recall involves 700-gram packages with the UPC 066701011479 and best before codes BB 2025 SE 07 and BB 2025 SE 26.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning consumers not to consume, use, serve, sell or distribute the chicken nuggets.

Instead, they should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.

The CFIA is conducting an investigation, and is verifying that retailers are removing recalled product from their shelves.
