SUV caught fire on QEW in Beamsville over the weekend
A fiery scene on the QEW brought traffic to a halt in Beamsville over the weekend.
At around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, emergency crews were met with a fully engulfed SUV on the right shoulder of the Toronto bound lanes near Ontario Street.
Reports from the scene say first responders from Hamilton passing through the area were first on scene and protected the uninjured driver of the SUV.
Niagara firefighters quickly extinguished blaze.
