Suspicious death in Central Hamilton

Detectives and a coroner are investigating what appears to be a suspicious death in Central Hamilton.

Police have now left a parking lot near a commercial building on Barton Street near East Avenue, after closing it off around 4 am this morning.

Investigators are not saying what has happened but someone has been taken to Hamilton General hospital under police guard. The property houses Steel Town family restaurant and some apartments.
