Suspected gas leak clears school

Hamilton fire crews were called to St Margaret Mary School on Brentwood Drive this morning after reports of a natural gas leak.

Officials have confirmed a gas stove in a kitchen inside the school was not properly shut off.

The building is being ventilated and students will be moved into the school shortly. They were waiting in St Margaret Mary church in the meantime.
