Suspect escapes Hamilton Police custody

Hamilton Police are looking for a man who escaped from their custody this afternoon.

Trevor Linklater, 24, is of native decent, about 5’7″, with short black hair. He has three tattoos – one on each forearm – as well as the word “death” on the left side of his neck. He was wearing a red Boston Red Sox shirt and white shorts.

Linklater escaped from Hamilton Police 2 division on King Street East at 1:42 this afternoon. He was last seen at the rear of the building.

He is wanted by police for an attempted break and enter.

Police are warning residents not to approach Linklater if they spot him, but to call them immediately at 905-961-6276, 905-961-0634 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
