Supercrawl Sunday

It’s business as usual today on James Street North in Hamilton.
However, it was the site of a massive street party Sunday, as Supercrawl got underway for its second night. Juno-nominated “Great Lake Swimmers” took to the stage. It was the fourth year for the annual festival, and the first time it took place over more than one day. Organizers say they were out until at least four this morning cleaning up. The final numbers have not been officially released, but organizers say there were definitely more people out over the last two days than the 50,000 people who attended last year. Hamilton Police say it was certainly well-attended, but no major incidents were reported as a result of all the extra activity.
