Hamilton Public Health will be opening up summer vaccine clinics for students in grades 7 to 12 looking to get up to date after the pandemic.

Clinics will be open at schools throughout the city during the months of July and August to provide students with first, second, or third doses as needed.

The four available through the clinics are the hepatitis B, HPV, Tdap, and meningococcal disease vaccines.

Public health is asking that parents and guardians update their children’s vaccinations records following a visit to the summer clinics through the Reporting Vaccines webpage or by calling 905-540-5250.

The program is launching as thousands of students are estimated to be behind on vaccinations since the pandemic stalled in-school vaccine clinics.

Appointments for the summer clinics can be made online or by calling 905-974-9848 opt 7.
