Halton police have wrapped up a summer-long project to clean up property damage and graffiti in Milton.

They released the results of their initiative Wednesday.

During the project, which ran from July 1st to September 4th, police made 83 arrests and laid 455 tickets for provincial offences.

A 53% increase in street level drug enforcement was also reported during that period, up from the same time last year.

Police say they’re most proud of the 50% reduction in property damage and graffiti in the core Milton areas this summer.
