Students protest school closing

Students at Port Dover Composite School are protesting a plan to close the school at the end of January.

In September, less than 60 students were enrolled.

The students say they recognize the school needs to close, but they say they were misled by the board, which told them they would be able to finish out the year there.

The Grand Erie District School Board has now decided to close the school on January 31st.
