Strip club fire investigated

Firefighters are still at the scene of a suspicious fire at a Brampton strip club where three people were shot in March.
Crews spent several hours trying to extinguish a fire causing black smoke to billow from the roof of a building that houses The Office Gentlemen’s Club on Melanie Drive. They found a gasoline can at the scene and suspect the blaze was deliberately set.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office has been called to investigate.
It’s not clear if the fire started at the strip club or at neighbouring businesses attached to the building.
In March three women were shot inside the club. Two of them had critical injuries.
No one was injured in this morning’s fire.
