Stoney Creek’s battle, affordable housing vs parking as 50 spots face elimination

The battle of affordable housing vs parking rages on in Stoney Creek.

The City of Hamilton is moving forward with plans to develop parts of a municipal lot that would eliminate more than 50 parking spots.

The city is now calling for submissions of interest to build affordable housing but one local councilor is holding out hope that the whole plan can be still scrapped.
