Stoney Creek rec centre closed

The Stoney Creek Recreation Centre has been closed temporarily due to mechanical issues at the facility.

During a routine maintenance inspection, staff identified a mechanical systems failure that resulted in damage to the heating and air conditioning system. All recreation programs at the site are cancelled and the facility is expected to remain closed up to and including Wednesday, April 24 while repairs take place.
